The National Mosque has been at the forefront of enlightening the Muslim Ummah through a series of Lectures held inside the main Mosque. To strengthen the spread of the message of Islam to a wider audience, the National Mosque, in addition to the Imams of the Mosque, has been involved in inviting Scholars to the Mosque to deliver Lectures on a weekly and monthly basis, touching on a variety of topics ranging from Islamic to Contemporary issues affecting the Muslim Ummah. Below is the schedule of programs of the National Mosque in this regard:
Program Description
- Weekly Juma’at Khutbah by the Murshid and Imams of the National Mosque respectively.
- Monthly Public Lectures in Hausa and English Languages are held between Maghrib and ‘Isha Prayers by prominent scholars invited from across the Country.
- Weekly Ta’alīm in English and Hausa Language held between Maghrib and Isha Prayers as Follows:

Welfare:
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Said: The Best of all charities is to feed a hungry person (Bukhari).
Therefore, in its efforts to strengthen the activities of its core mandate of providing welfare to the Ummah, the National Mosque registered the Abuja National Mosque Da’awah and Welfare Foundation with the Corporate Affairs Commission. Since its incorporation in 2021, the Foundation has conducted welfare services such as distributing meat to less privileged persons during Eid el-Fitr and Eid el-Kabir celebrations.
